Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify the safety net system for patients with CKD who do not meet criteria for SLK at the time of transplant and alternative options.
  2. Describe the importance of early screening and management for patients with alcohol associated liver disease.
  3. Identify the new advances in machine perfusion and how to increase utilization of marginal organs for transplant.
  4. Understand the indications for the use of GLP1As and bariatric surgery for patients with MASLD.
  5. Describe best practice management strategies for AKI in cirrhosis
