The conference will present updates on
evidence and innovation for the running
population.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. List appropriate applications of ESWT (Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy) and treatment protocols to expand treatment options for refractory overuse injuries in runners
  2. Be able to determine is a running-related stress fracture is critical or non-critical and apply newer treatment strategies
  3. Identify early-stage anemia and iron deficiency and apply guidelines for supplementation.
  4. List options for treatment of osteochondral lesions, including surgical options
  5. Explain how ultrasound can assist in soft tissue injury diagnosis and treatment
  6. Apply principles of return to run programs

Credits
AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.50 hours), AAPA (4.50 hours), ANCC Contact Hours (4.50 hours), BOC CEU (4.50 hours), CDR CPEU (4.50 hours), Hours of Participation (4.50 hours)

Cancellation requests received in writing no less than 30 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellation requests received within 30 days or for registration fees of less than $50.  Please send cancellation requests [email protected].
