2025 UVA Heart Failure Symposium in Charlottesville

This symposium will enhance learners' competencies by addressing current trends, issues, and emerging therapies in heart failure care. Healthcare professionals will broaden their knowledge, aiming to improve care delivery and outcomes across specialized and continuum care settings.

Saturday, February 22, 2025, 8:30 AM - 4:20 PM EST, UVA Newcomb Hall, Charlottesville, VA

1. Describe the basic hemodynamics measured with a RHC and what might be expected in a patient with heart failure
2. Describe how inflammatory disease can contribute to heart failure
3. Identify where a patient is on their heart failure trajectory and describe resources available based on their unique needs
4. Describe basic anatomy of congenital heart conditions and how it affects patients living into adulthood
5. Utilize electrophysiology device management and monitoring for awareness on heart failure and volume management
6. Promote use of guideline directed medical therapy according to the 2022 Guidelines while supporting individual patient needs

Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be issued for the program.

 

UVA Health Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel CE activities if necessary.  In this case, the entire registration fee will be refunded.  All other expenses incurred in conjunction with this CE activity are the sole responsibility of the participant.
