At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Define the new Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) classifications and discuss updated guidelines.
  2. Discuss the new treatment modalities for Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS).
  3. Explain the pathogenesis of Clonal Hematopoiesis of Indeterminate Potential (CHIP), identify its clinical implications and associated risks, and discuss current management strategies and future research directions.
  4. Describe current practices and innovations in transfusion medicine.
  5. Identify diagnostic and therapeutic strategies in multiple myeloma.
  6. Analyze pulmonary complications in hematologic diseases.
  7. Examine current and emerging therapies in lymphoma treatment.
  8. Discuss treatment strategies for concomitant arterial and venous thrombosis.
