2024 UVA Interdisciplinary Urologic Oncology Update: A Case Based Update

The field of Oncology continues to develop and change both clinically and scientifically. The UVA Cancer Center is dedicated to educating health care providers involved in treating patients with a cancer diagnosis.

Thursday, November 14, 2024, 8:00 AM - 3:35 PM EST, Boar's Head Inn & Conference Center, Charlottesville, VA

1. Implement updated best management practices in urologic oncology, focusing on androgen deprivation therapy intensification and therapeutic interventions for elderly bladder cancer patients.
2. Apply risk stratification in germ cell tumors and utilize enfortumab vedotin/pembrolizumab to reduce toxicity and improve outcomes in advanced urothelial cancer patients.
3. Analyze state-of-the-art data in GU cancers through interdisciplinary discussions and apply level 1 evidence in their decision-making processes.
4. Integrate the clinical and educational principles of the GU interdisciplinary program into their practice.
5. Collaborate effectively in the interdisciplinary management of urologic neoplasms, ensuring the adoption of best management practices in community practice environments.
