2026 VCS Rhythm in Richmond Symposium

The 10th Rhythm in Richmond Symposium is a biennial educational activity designed to provide physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) with current, evidence-based updates in the evaluation and management of cardiac arrhythmias. Content will include the assessment and management of syncope and palpitations, ECG interpretation, and a review of cardiac rhythm devices, monitors, and wearables. Additional topics include atrial fibrillation management (including ablation and anticoagulation), sleep apnea management, and the potential cardiovascular impact of GLP-1 therapies.

1. Describe current evidence-based guidelines and emerging technologies for the management of cardiac rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, catheter ablation, and device-based therapies.
2. Apply guideline-directed strategies to real-world clinical scenarios involving atrial fibrillation, complex arrhythmias, and comorbid conditions such as sleep-disordered breathing.
3. Evaluate the impact of multidisciplinary collaboration and peri-procedural planning on procedural safety, outcomes, and continuity of electrophysiology care
4. Integrate evidence-based electrophysiology practices and outpatient care models into team-based workflows to reduce variation in care and improve patient outcomes.
